Terms of Service

Welcome to Amoria ("Amoria," "we," "our," or "us"), operated by the Amoria Team.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Amoria mobile application and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

The Service is intended exclusively for adults.

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age;
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations;
  • Provide truthful, accurate, and current registration information.

You represent and warrant that all information submitted during registration is accurate and complete.

Providing false information, including your age or identity, may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

2. Age Verification

To help maintain a safe community, Amoria reserves the right to verify a user's age at any time.

We may request additional information or documentation where reasonably necessary to confirm that a user satisfies the minimum age requirement.

If a user:

  • Cannot verify that they are at least 18 years old;
  • Is reasonably believed to be under the age of 18; or
  • Provides fraudulent age information,

we may suspend or permanently terminate the account without prior notice.

3. Child Safety Standards

Amoria is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users and strictly prohibits any activity that could endanger minors.

Our Service is not directed to children, and individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to use the Service under any circumstances.

Users must not:

  • Create an account while under 18 years old;
  • Misrepresent their age;
  • Encourage or assist minors to use the Service;
  • Attempt to contact or communicate with minors through the Service;
  • Use the Service to exploit, groom, or manipulate minors;
  • Upload, distribute, request, or promote content involving minors in a sexual or exploitative context.

Any account reasonably suspected of violating these standards may be immediately suspended while an investigation is conducted.

4. Zero-Tolerance Policy for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

Amoria maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding Child Sexual Abuse Material ("CSAM") and any form of child sexual exploitation.

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Uploading CSAM;
  • Sharing or forwarding CSAM;
  • Requesting or soliciting CSAM;
  • Promoting or facilitating child exploitation;
  • Using coded language intended to facilitate child exploitation;
  • Attempting to groom or exploit minors;
  • Linking to websites or services containing CSAM.

If we become aware of any content or behavior that may involve child sexual exploitation, we may:

  • Immediately remove the content;
  • Suspend or permanently terminate the responsible account;
  • Preserve relevant records where legally required;
  • Report the matter to appropriate law enforcement agencies or child protection organizations, where required by applicable law.

5. Community Safety

To help maintain a respectful and secure community, users must interact responsibly.

The following conduct is prohibited:

  • Harassment or bullying;
  • Hate speech or discriminatory behavior;
  • Threats of violence;
  • Stalking;
  • Blackmail or extortion;
  • Fraud or scams;
  • Impersonating another individual or organization;
  • Sharing malicious software or harmful links;
  • Encouraging illegal activity.

Amoria reserves the right to investigate reports and take appropriate action, including removing content, restricting features, suspending accounts, or permanently terminating accounts.

6. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You agree to:

  • Keep your password secure;
  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account;
  • Accept responsibility for activities conducted through your account.

You may not:

  • Sell or transfer your account;
  • Share your account with another person;
  • Create accounts on behalf of others without authorization;
  • Circumvent account restrictions imposed by Amoria.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the integrity or security of the Service.

7. User Responsibilities

When using the Service, you agree to:

  • Respect the rights and privacy of other users;
  • Provide accurate profile information;
  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes;
  • Follow all applicable laws and regulations;
  • Comply with these Terms and our Community Standards.

You are solely responsible for all content you upload, publish, send, or otherwise make available through the Service.

8. User-Generated Content

The Service allows users to create, upload, publish, transmit, and share content, including but not limited to:

  • Profile information
  • Photos
  • Videos
  • Messages
  • Comments
  • Other user-submitted materials ("User Content")

You retain ownership of the User Content you submit.

By submitting User Content through the Service, you grant Amoria Team a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, process, and otherwise use such User Content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, securing, and promoting the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have all necessary rights to the User Content you submit;
  • Your User Content does not violate any applicable law;
  • Your User Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • Your User Content complies with these Terms and our community standards.

Amoria reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review, remove, restrict, or disable access to any User Content that violates these Terms or may pose risks to users or the Service.

9. Messaging and User Interactions

Amoria provides features that allow users to communicate through private messaging and other interactive functions.

Users are solely responsible for their communications and interactions with other users.

Although Amoria may use automated systems and human moderation to help detect policy violations, we do not routinely monitor every conversation and cannot guarantee the accuracy, truthfulness, or safety of user communications.

Users should exercise appropriate caution when:

  • Sharing personal information;
  • Meeting other users offline;
  • Sending photos or videos;
  • Engaging in financial transactions outside the Service.

Amoria is not responsible for the actions or conduct of users outside the Service.

10. Premium Features and Subscriptions

Certain features of the Service may require payment, including but not limited to:

  • Premium memberships;
  • Subscription plans;
  • Enhanced messaging features;
  • Profile visibility enhancements;
  • Access to exclusive or premium content.

The availability, pricing, and features of premium services may change from time to time.

Premium benefits are provided only during the applicable subscription period unless otherwise stated.

11. In-App Purchases

The Service may offer digital products, virtual items, or premium content through in-app purchases.

All purchases are processed through the applicable app marketplace, including Google Play Billing where available.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law:

  • Purchases are final;
  • Digital items have no cash value;
  • Purchased content is licensed, not sold;
  • Unused digital items are generally non-refundable.

Refund requests are subject to the policies of the applicable app marketplace.

12. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any law or regulation;
  • Harass, intimidate, or abuse others;
  • Send spam or unsolicited commercial messages;
  • Distribute malware or harmful software;
  • Promote illegal goods or services;
  • Collect personal information without authorization;
  • Circumvent security measures;
  • Reverse engineer or interfere with the Service;
  • Create fake accounts for deceptive purposes;
  • Manipulate rankings, recommendations, or matching systems.

Any attempt to interfere with the proper operation of the Service may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination.

13. Prohibited Content

Users may not upload, publish, transmit, or otherwise make available content that:

  • Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM);
  • Promotes child exploitation;
  • Depicts or promotes illegal activities;
  • Contains credible threats of violence;
  • Promotes terrorism or extremist organizations;
  • Contains hate speech;
  • Infringes copyrights or trademarks;
  • Violates another person's privacy or publicity rights;
  • Contains malicious software or phishing links;
  • Includes non-consensual intimate images;
  • Is fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive.

Amoria may remove prohibited content without prior notice.

14. Reporting, Blocking, and Enforcement

To promote user safety, the Service provides tools that allow users to:

  • Report inappropriate content;
  • Report abusive users;
  • Block unwanted users.

Reports are reviewed using a combination of automated detection systems and human review where appropriate.

Depending on the nature of the violation, Amoria may:

  • Remove content;
  • Issue warnings;
  • Restrict account functionality;
  • Temporarily suspend accounts;
  • Permanently terminate accounts;
  • Report unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities where required.

Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent removal from the Service.

15. Content Moderation

Amoria uses both automated technologies and human moderators to help identify content or behavior that may violate these Terms.

Moderation activities may include:

  • Reviewing reported content;
  • Detecting spam or fraudulent activity;
  • Identifying policy violations;
  • Investigating suspicious behavior.

Content moderation does not guarantee that all inappropriate content will be detected or removed immediately.

Users are encouraged to report content they believe violates these Terms.

16. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, logos, graphics, text, and other materials (excluding User Content), is owned by or licensed to the Amoria Team and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not:

  • Copy;
  • Modify;
  • Distribute;
  • Sell;
  • License;
  • Reverse engineer;
  • Create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written permission.

17. Account Suspension and Termination

Amoria reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account at any time if we determine that you have:

  • Violated these Terms;
  • Violated applicable laws or regulations;
  • Submitted false or misleading registration information;
  • Engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activities;
  • Attempted to interfere with the operation or security of the Service;
  • Created multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions;
  • Engaged in behavior that threatens the safety or rights of other users.

Where appropriate, we may provide a warning before taking enforcement action. However, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or permanently terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations.

Upon termination:

  • Your right to access the Service will immediately cease;
  • Your access to premium features may be discontinued;
  • Certain information may be retained where required by law or necessary to protect our legitimate interests.

18. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Amoria Team makes no warranties or representations, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties regarding:

  • Availability of the Service;
  • Accuracy or completeness of information;
  • Reliability or uninterrupted operation;
  • Fitness for a particular purpose;
  • Merchantability;
  • Non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will always be available;
  • The Service will be free from errors or interruptions;
  • Defects will be corrected immediately;
  • Communications between users will be accurate, truthful, or safe.

Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Amoria Team, its affiliates, officers, employees, partners, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service;
  • User-generated content;
  • Interactions between users;
  • Unauthorized access to your account;
  • Loss of data;
  • Business interruption;
  • Loss of profits or revenue.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Amoria through the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, the above limitations apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

20. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Amoria Team, its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:

  • Your use of the Service;
  • Your User Content;
  • Your violation of these Terms;
  • Your violation of any applicable law;
  • Your infringement of the rights of any third party.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may modify or update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business operations.

When material changes are made, we will update the Effective Date at the beginning of these Terms.

Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must discontinue using the Service.

22. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which the Service is operated, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in accordance with applicable laws and the competent courts having jurisdiction over such matters, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws.

23. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

24. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional policies or guidelines incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Amoria Team regarding your use of the Service.

These Terms supersede any prior agreements, understandings, or communications relating to the Service.
